The Linda Horihan Agency, a division of Linda Horihan Inc., is a full service insurance agency serving Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa. The agency specializes in farms, small businesses, health insurance, auto, and homeowner’s policies.

Linda HorihanIts founder, Linda Horihan, started in the insurance business in 1988 with Farm Bureau in Preston, MN. A number of years later, Linda decided to become an Independent Agent and launched a business of her own in Rushford, MN. Linda grew the corporation from a staff of one to 9 agents today. Her dedication to prompt, professional customer service earned her a top place in the local insurance arena. Sadly, Linda passed away in January of 2005 when she lost her battle with breast cancer.

Linda’s son Creighton Horihan joined the firm in the spring of 2002. He continues to serve the clients that Linda served and also is focused on growing the business. Creighton has extensive background in the agricultural industry, being a farmer in rural Lanesboro, MN.

In the spring of 2006, the Linda Horihan Agency opened its first branch office in Rochester, MN. Shane Steinbeck was hired to manage this branch as well as handle Internet Technology for the agency.

In January of 2008, the Linda Horihan Agency opened its second branch in Winona, MN with the acquisition of the Ringler Agency’s insurance business. Jackie Larson and Duane Ringler service clients out of this office.

In January of 2009, the Minnesota Garot Christman Agency was acquired. This agency has operated in the Rochester area since the 1950′s. Rod Woxland, Cheri Ness, Charles Horihan and Scott Stetzler currently service clients out of this office.
